Welcome to LrinaPulse (“App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). LrinaPulse is a lakeside camping companion that helps you plan itineraries, check gear, keep scrapbook memories, and manage trip history. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
1. Who We Are
LrinaPulse is provided for personal, non-commercial use on iOS devices.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use the App, the following categories may be processed:
2.1 Information You Provide
- Profile content: nickname and optional avatar image.
- Trip content: campsite names, trip dates, preferences, activities, timelines, gear checklists, notes, and cover photos.
- Scrapbook content: photos and notes attached to journeys.
- Site Notifier settings: site name/location text and cloud-cover threshold preferences (in-app alerts only).
2.2 Device Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose to take a photo for your avatar, journey cover, or scrapbook.
- Photo Library: used only when you choose an existing image for avatar, cover, or scrapbook.
You can deny these permissions in iOS Settings. Doing so may limit photo-related features, but itinerary planning and other local tools can still work.
2.3 Purchase-Related Information
- The App offers consumable in-app purchases of virtual currency called Sparks through Apple’s StoreKit / App Store.
- Apple processes payment details. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
- Locally, the App keeps a Sparks balance ledger and processed transaction identifiers to prevent duplicate credit.
2.4 Technical / Local State
- Local login state and a device-generated session token (no password).
- Welcome Sparks grant status and usage counters.
- App preference flags needed for normal operation.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and improve camping itinerary, gear, scrapbook, and history features.
- Display and update your profile and Sparks balance.
- Enable PDF export of itineraries you create.
- Process Sparks purchases and deduct Sparks for paid unlocks (for example itinerary generation or optional Site Notifier upgrades).
- Honor logout and account-deletion requests on your device.
4. Where Data Is Stored
Journey data, scrapbook images, profile data, and Sparks ledger are primarily stored locally on your device (sandbox storage and local preferences). If you uninstall the App, or use Delete Account, locally stored user content may be permanently removed and cannot be recovered by us.
5. Optional Network Features
The App’s core planning logic is designed to work offline using on-device rules. Certain optional enhancements may use network services when available. When such features are used, only the content needed for that request may be transmitted. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts, notes, or uploaded images.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Limited sharing may occur as follows:
- Apple: for StoreKit purchase processing and App Store operations.
- Service providers: only if needed to operate optional online features, under appropriate safeguards.
- Legal requirements: if required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.
7. Data Retention
- Local content remains on your device until you delete it, delete your account in-app, or uninstall the App.
- Logout keeps local content and returns you to the login screen.
- Delete Account permanently removes profile, journeys, scrapbook content, notifier settings, and Sparks balance from the device (except limited non-personal flags needed to prevent repeated welcome grants).
8. Your Choices & Controls
- Edit nickname and avatar in Profile.
- Delete individual journeys or scrapbook entries in the App.
- Export itineraries as PDF and manage shared files through iOS share sheets.
- Revoke camera/photo permissions in iOS Settings.
- Use Logout or Delete Account at any time from Profile.
9. Children’s Privacy
LrinaPulse is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can help you remove it from the device.
10. International Users
The App is intended for overseas users. Privacy rights may vary by country or region (for example CCPA/CPRA in California or GDPR in the EEA/UK). Because most data is stored on-device, many requests can be fulfilled directly through in-app deletion controls.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a local-first mobile app. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Please keep your device locked and updated.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when revisions are published. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
